I plan to draw my original characters a bit more often in the time ahead. Feel like I've been neglecting them a bit.
At school Ianna was quite the loner. She would never admit it, but it bothered her to always sit alone during breaks.
First attempt to do a Witcher fanart! I hesitated for some time (drawing the armor is definitely no joke). But I think in the end I managed well enough.
But I couldn't decide which version I liked more: The one with a rendered background, or the one without?🤔

Another colored sketch. This time with some warm and sunny colors to counter the grey weather.
Some of you might remember this guy from 2019, when I remade a ten-year-old artwork. Can't believe this was already two years ago. It doesn't feel like it's been that long ...🙈
Anyway: I thought it was time to check my progress again! So here's another version of him.
Saw the #HowToDrawMangaRedraw challenge and just couldn't resist. I even revived my dormant Twitter account for this.😆Feels so nostalgic! https://t.co/L6Ltw3oKB0

Last weekend I stumbled upon the lovely "draw this in your style" challenge by marianne.alexandre on instagram. My gallery hasn't seen any fantasy artworks since April, so I simply couldn't resist. 😂
👉 Put a timelapse video of the drawing process in the second tweet!
In contrast to the concepts before, Steff's characterdesign just developed naturally, without any need for a role model. 😀 It was so much fun to design her colorful clothes!
It's important for me to have cheerful characters on board, even if the story is rather serious.
Niko's characterdesign was hard to create. The image of him in my mind was very vague, more a feeling than a form. For Ianna and Vin I had existing people in mind, but for Niko I couldn't find the right model.
At the end I got lucky and still came up with a working design.🙂

I somehow went overboard with the work on my #dtiys entry for archina.laezza's challenge on instagram. 🙈
The good thing is: The original artwork motivated me.
