And here's the second characterdesign, this time it's the clothing concept for Ianna!

While working on the first three designs I realised how hard it was to stay on track with the style. I guess I'm not used to "connected" artworks anymore.

I can finally show the first results of the six characterdesigns I am preparing at the moment. They belong to the dystopian story concept I introduced for OCtober this year. 🙂

While scrolling trough entries for the #sailormoonredrawchallenge I realized: I liked the anime in my teens, but I never did a Sailor Moon fanart. So this challenge is a good opportunity to change that! 😜

Avia was one of my very first #originalcharacters. I designed her for a #comic I worked on in 2003 and she has kept me company ever since. 🙂 The lineart for this particular artwork is from 2017, but the colors are brand new.

I feel like #drawthisinyourstyle #challenges help me to learn and compare my work with other artists in a very useful and constructive way. 🙂

Doing #dtiys art after work helps me relax my mind these days. Never liked working from home very much. But now I have to work here, so I need to put more effort than usual into finding my balance.

Recently I decided I would put an end to it, so today I pushed myself to the finishline and decided (or more accurately: forced myself to decide) that I doesnt have to be perfect. It just has to be complete. 🤷‍♀️

I'm very happy I finished this today, cause I literally worked on it for YEARS! 😅

I started with the first version in 2016 and stopped for some months, because it didn't work out like I planned. Then I started working on it again, and then stopped for the same reasons.

Uhm, did I say no more #dtiys entries for this month? Well, just pretend it never happend. 😅

I saw this lovely #drawthisinyourstyle
challenge of @Ensyis and really liked the color palette. So I just had to draw her character Cosima (#vomanfang). Couldn't resist. 🙃
