The army that Hamilcar Barca and Hasdrubal crafted that Hannibal inherited in 221 BC consisted of 2 main elements. The 1st was an African contingent (Libyans, Liby-Phoenicians, Numidians, Carthaginian commanders). The 2nd was an Iberian contingent (Spanish and Celtiberians)

None of our Roman sources actually call Boudica a queen (regina). But they do give this title to her contemporary Cartimandua, Queen of the Brigantes. Cartimandua is the first documented queen to have ruled part of Britain in her own right
