A mythic creature of the land
A vision of ancient power
One look in his feral eyes
You were his to devour
Sage wisdom I failed to heed
He bade me come to his side
I gave him my body and my soul
In his world I must now abide

Sentience in his soulful eyes
Belied the evil in his soul
Seeking to find my Élan vital
To change my nature was his goal
I was too pure for his demonic world
A woman who wished to run free
How fruitless was his kiss of damnation
Yet he still watches me

He didn’t look beneath the salient characteristics of my magic.
He judged me unworthy to be his apprentice.
“Simple spells from a simple witch,” he said.
He is now the newest addition to my collection.

Wolf: (throwing me to the floor, lust in his eyes, desire in his heart) “What a tasty snack you’re going to be.”
Woodsman: “What’s for dinner, Red?”
Me: (pulling another tail bristle from the crust) “Wolf Wellington.”

This bloom must have been borrowed from the garden of sanity. As I roamed around the mad-hatter imagination in my mind, you gifted it to me. It holds a scent of mystery, of darkness, of magic, and yet it has brought me from panic to peaceful.

Rational angels do not live here anymore
Wings turned black
Virtue lost in the search for knowledge
Fallen into the storm
I am rid of the regrets
Toss them on the gusty gale
One last time...
Will my faced be turned
To the servitude of heaven
