Little oil study of Moss rose ‘William Lobb’ from . This rose dates back to 1855, has a strong fragrance and fades beautifully from deep magenta through to shades of purple.

Muddy dog bathed, stove lit, so got on with painting more roses this afternoon. Colour’s a bit off on this photo, the rose is ‘Ash Wednesday’, a climber the deer haven’t found yet! 😉#art
