@JoshuaMSimons I didn’t plan it this way, but wow Tessa Thompson would be perfection as my current #DnD character, a Fire Genasi Barbarian named Rabanne.
I might as well throw in some visuals for choice!
Aury, the biker elf
Ramah, the exiled prince
Kalara, the god-tier diplomat
Melakim, the hasbeen Monster Hunter
I really need to draw all of these folks more!
(Cept for Kalara. She's taken over the muse for the past few years.)
Comics on vacay reading list:
- ATLA: Suki Alone
- Lady Mechanika: The Monster of the Ministry of Hell
- The last few vols of Blade of the Immortal
- Isola Vol 2
- Die Vol 3 & 4 (Really hyped for this series!)
- Monstress
Gosh I have a ton of Kickstarted comics I forgot to read!
I'm holding out to share the full images of our merry band of #DnD characters till all 3 portraits are done, but enjoy a lil sneak peek of my fave details till then!
Mint's hand & sword + Cal's horn studs & eye makeup.🥰 Next up, drawing my Barbarian Fire Genasi Princess, Rabs!
Late to the party to answer on #WorldBookDay, but the 1st book I fell in love with was The Secret of the Unicorn Queen. It had badass warrior women riding unicorns, a grand isekai plot, a brunette heroine, & more.
What's not to love for a unicorn-obsessed brunette tween?🦄 https://t.co/3770yr9GLQ
@grave_weaver Aw bummer the vid is gone this morning! Here is a screencap of the before and after since it somehow still exists in my temp files here.
And for those who cannot unsee after seeing this, my deepest apologies.
Time for some #blueart! But also kinda #purpleart. I do adore the cool colors!
@LaurenWalshArt Happy to distract with my recent fave paintings I’ve done! I’ve been filled with such joy lately indulging more elegant dark fantasy topics.
Aw man did I miss #ProcreateDay? I've been loving @Procreate esp right now because of my shoulder issues. I don't have to lift my arm as much for my ipad as I do with my Cintiq, which means most of my pieces have been in Procreate lately for comfort reasons. Enjoy a selection!
And now a time lapse! You can see how halfway through I completely reworked the face, lower body, & dress design and the final image was better for it. It pays to push when you sense something's off! Massive props to @Zephyri for her encouragement to keep going on this one.
