@Crazy_Crash08 I love the little things, though I think both are necessary to some extent. For my MC's, I love weaving together theme & personality.

For example, Kathryn's pigtails and strong facial expressions aren't just there for show (although they're endearing). They help tell her story.

66 years ago today, 14 y.o. Emmett Till was murdered. We know about his death, but more should know about his life.

I based my OC Boraafya from #BondOfTheBlade on him. Like the real Bo (Emmett's nickname), he's a friendly prankster capable of more than meets the eye.

I'm just throwing this out there: neither of my main artists are Black. Both of my stories feature heavily melanated casts and they are (usually) not drawn by Black people.And yet LOOK AT THEM. Almost like you don't have to be Black to draw Black folks good. 🤔
