Episode 77:

The new arc kicks off with a Yashima episode, though it's a polished one thanks to corrections from Takeo Ide and Tadayoshi Yamamuro. The show's composite sees a total overhaul too, introducing a line filter, soft glow, and desaturation.

@KaiserNeko I love Masuda's highs as much as anyone, but I think people forget just how shit his lows are. Legit bad replacement music-tier. Takanashi's significantly more consistent and interesting.

If you ever wanted proof that the Kai redraws are arbitrary and not because of "damaged film" as Toei cited, there are unfinished redraws in previews showing perfectly fine original footage that then get redrawn in the episode proper. It introduces colouring errors, too. Garbage.
