Saw this floating around a lot today. Needed correcting/clarification either because they were wrong or not very representative (i.e. corrected by someone else in some way or another).

Even the Level Sets, which are largely quite nice, come from a secondary source which features black detail issues.

Even the beloved Dragon Boxes have intense colour degradation. Not to mention the audio sync is super fucked.

I enjoy Kai 1.0's remaster for the most part, but the inconsistency in redrawn scenes is annoying. In some cases, you have largely good stuff with varied line weight and fake grain to help it blend mostly seamlessly, but then you also have single width, MS Paint-looking garbage.
