It's just so funny to me how right Toriyama was. He picked Shintani based on his raw artistic talent, saying he could learn to draw DB in time, and well... he sure did. It's almost hard to believe these are the same person.

It's interesting to see how Shintani's approach changed with Super Saiyan God between the early design sheets (left) and the anniversary poster he drew well over a year later (right).

It's not exclusive to God - he's changed massively in general - but it's a neat form to compare
