Happy Fizban's! I did a looot of side related concept art for the book, but these two are some dragon-cousin critters I worked on directly. I couldn't pass up the idea of doing an oarfish serpent.

@leetleteapot @CaraidArt Off the bat - you need to use reference for everything. The wolf anatomy, human anatomy, environment, and lighting.
As for the dropped torch, ask yourself - who dropped it? Does it add to the piee/story, and why?
Personally, I encourage you to keep it simple.

I got to do a soft redesign of the lizardfolk from D&D for this one, I based them a bit more heavily off a green iguana. The trickiest part of this for me was all the tangled roots 🥲
