@TurboBirbo Working on a digital Goldagon (I'm further than this already, but the claws are giving me a hard time) and traditionally redesigning the Mer creatures from Primeval (probably gonna post more later)
Not sure if either one counts as a painting tho
I've said it before and I'll say it again, pre-Interchange South America is CRIMINALLY underappreciated and underrepresented in media, there is just so much untapped weirdness but everyone just ends up going with Smilodon populator as the focus

I'm a traditional artist slowly expanding into digital art mostly focusing on nature, paleo and speculative evolution
I also on occasion post wildlife pictures and paleo-memes
Also speaker on the DeepTimePodcast: https://t.co/E1Q0VF6WwQ
Some more stuff, tho I'm not sure if these count since its spec evo and a straight up dragon
Ok, I said I wouldn't participate in #Smaugust but reminiscing about dragon hunters made me absolutely draw this guy and fittingly day 12 of Smaugust was shark.
The Neglour is basically a massive shark like dragon with ice breath that swims through snow as if it was the ocean.
@DanzigDraws @Carnoferox @zhejiang0pterus @Trey_Explainer Reedstilt and Night Stalker, first the original illustrations done by Diz Wallis for the ´81 print, next to them Dougal's own illustrations used in the reprint. Afaik it was done as he was unhappy with the appearance of those two in the first publication.
@origamiPete And that's just a small sample. There's plenty of more, some mammalian oh yeah
and a giant chameleon
