Managed to get a few more height layers done today. The good thing about these is that the higher up you go, the less time they each take up.
Since my eyeball doesn't hurt every time I blink anymore, and while I'm stuck in bed anyways, I might as well start working on the regional map of Cassonia and neighboring kingdoms again.
Made some stylistic changes and added a little solar system to the top left of the world map. There's no way twitter's image uploader is going to preserve enough detail to make the small text readable unfortunately.
Progress Update: Got started on borders, did a couple more city markers and plotted the average lunar zeniths (which are important for the functioning of magic within this world). #cartography #worldbuilding
While I'm working on that detailed piece, I'm also on the side figuring out a proper presentable world map. I've decided on a projection, so now there's tracing to be done. #cartography #worldbuilding
River delta systems are really hard to make look natural. May need to spend a couple more hours looking at references to fix this.
