They were definitely a bad kind of stereotype back in the day but honestly everything that made them stereotypical is still mostly there, now they’re just less interesting and with more boring character designs. It’s the ultimate downgrade imo.

It started off lowkey predictable as a fantasy anime and then threw me for a loop, even the ending shocked me.

I’m not sure I 100% get this timeline but oh well 🤷🏾‍♀️

Also the fact that it’s called Lost Song and not The Lost Song will forever annoy me.
