Nerites was a very minor sea diety who was loved by Poseidon and returned his feelings. He became Poseidon’s charioteer and was astonishing malt fast. From their love sprung Anteros, the god of requited love and one of the Erotes.

Apollo has had a lot of lovers in his immortal life such as Hyacinth who became flowers, Daphne and Cyparissus who turned into a trees, Branchus who disappeared, Carnus who was killed & Admetus who invited Apollo to his wedding when he got married.
