Decided to do a little #ProfessorLayton fan art before bed. So glad to see a new game is coming!! (Also please include Luke too, #Nintendo!)
#DailyDrawing #38
Well unfortunately the game jam ended in an early failure… some family stuff came up that was simply too pressing to ignore. It happens! Here is as far as the art got for today’s #DailyDrawing.
@ViiMorteArt Kind of you! I am far under 10k. And 1k. And 100, lol. Anyway, hope you’re having a good day!
The first, done a month ago, was “finished” in 17 minutes! Clearly not enough time. A good lesson to (finally) take to heart.
For a rough this one is still cute, though.
I thought I’d redo the first #DailyDrawing I did back on January 1st, since today is February 1st. See how progress was going.
Here’s the giant lesson I learned during January: Good art takes TIME. This clocked in at an hour and 23 minutes.
Handful of gesture drawings for today’s #DailyDrawing practice. They’re alright. 20 year old me would be impressed, but 40 year old me is rather nonplussed. Ah well, tis life! On to the next. #29
Today I worked on Cardfire (the upcoming @weekendpanda game) more or less all day. So today’s #DailyDrawing is a collection of creature sketches as I try to figure out final designs for a few of the critters! #16
@MadAboutPaper @1SonuvaGunn Consider, as a contrast, that one I did recently that I said I liked. Bottom left:
That face is genuine. It is ‘alive.’ The others, pretty as they may or may not be, are not genuine in that same way. I drew the bottom left face confidently, without hesitating and fretting.
Sometimes you have good drawing days, and sometimes you have bad drawing days.
And sometimes within the same practice SESSION things go great and then go terribly. Go figure. #DailyDrawing #13
@k04sk Aloha! May you get some rest and peace to alleviate your exhaustion. 🙂
