Gash Bell's 14th episode is the second time around that Ken Ueno is in charge of being the animation director of an episode. Like w/ Yamamuro before, he is more comfortable in his second attempt and it shows. These hands are lit.

Tadayoshi Yamamuro's AD work in Gash Bell #09 is pretty good! Wasn't impressed at all in his first attempt in the first episode, but this time around the close-ups with the sharp angles and extra shading were really pretty to look at.

So cute....

Seems like the scenes were staged like collaborative efforts between different animators, with a few of them animating short cuts in them. Here for example bobo, chengbei he and kali (at least) animated this fight were paintings are infused with life and are coming at you.
