Komaki's boards play a lot with foregrounds and depth fields, something that we don't normally get in One Piece. With a few shots we are smoothly introduced in a party island where pirates can freely run hammock.

She was given a low-priority episode with a rather modest animation team and toned the story-board to make the episode fun to watch while also not being too demanding for the animators. The first part with Perona was really cute.
