@JMorgynWhite After something like this, I would call it a day and not engage in any activities requiring extensive brain power. Or any power, preferrably.
Happy New Year! May 2022 bring you many good books and a lot of stress-free time to read them!
I also hope that the year will be really good, and it will bring you a pet dragon to ride to work on.
It's been a while since I shared any art, but I've been busy wrapping up Shadows Over Kaighal and starting to write book 4, Demon Siege.
Since it's already December, here's a frozen dragonfly which I had done recently, playing around with an old outline and digital watercolors.
#Frightfall2021 by RetroSupply Co, day 18: bones
This was a perfect opportunity to redo my hand-drawn sketch from the last year and make it full vector. It took "ages", but it was definitely worth it, and I've learned a lot while doing it.
More pictures with close-ups.
#Frightfall2021 by RetroSupply Co, day 17: clown
What can I say? I don't like clowns. I don't like drawing clowns. I probably can't draw clowns. But my husband gave me an idea on how to handle this prompt, so there he is.
#FrightFall2021 by RetroSupply Co, day 16: death
Sometimes, "simple" is the way to go. I didn't want to do a skeleton, since the bones prompt is coming, and I didn't have any particularly original ideas. So here it is.
#FrightFall2021 by RetroSupply Co, day 15: spell
Back in 2018 I drew dragonflies for the whole #Inktober, and a lot of people seemed to like the "spell" one, so I couldn't help myself and redrew it digitally, adding some color.
#frightfall2021 by RetroSupply Co, day 10: mummy
"And now for something completely different". I had a traditional drawing of a mummy from last year, and I couldn't help using it for this prompt. With so many bandages, the stained glassed styles seemed a perfect choice.
#frightfall2021 by RetroSupply Co day 9: vampire
Some time ago, I drew a Dracula (based on my drawing from a year ago), so I didn't want to repeat myself. So I decided to try retro style & had a lot of fun with it.
3 versions: with texture, processed for old look, and plain one.
