#FrightFall2021 by RetroSupply Co, day 8: Werewolf
I can't draw wolves, and I'm not too good with human anatomy either, but challenges are about, well, challenging oneself, so I did my best. I really wanted to try cell shading, so this whole picture is done in vector.
Day 2 of #frightfall2021 by RetroSupply Co. Prompt: ghost.
This ghost is a little doodle from my sketchbook from about 10 yrs ago. Every now and then I play around, trying different techniques and colors on him, so it felt perfect that I'd do so for this challenge as well.
#frightfall2021 by RetroSupply Co begins and today's theme is "skulls".
I confess, I had to consult my anatomy book for this one, and since it was turning out crooked, I mirrored one side instead which brought an idea of making it with negative colors.
I spent the last 15 minutes popping bubbles in a piece of bubble wrap, and it was delightful.
How is your evening going?
Hopefully spring has already reached all the corners of the northern hemisphere. Is it around your corner of the world yet?
And this little one was born from a random doodling inspired by a springtime theme. Is he a flower fairy? A spring wisp? Something else? I have no idea! ;)
Do you remember the gargoyle I drew last Inktober? Here's his redrawn and colored version. Fun fact: I actually drew it twice. The first time I wasn't happy with my linework, so I started over, and laid out colors differently too.
Happy New Year!
I hope that 2021 will bring us positive perspectives and outcomes, dragons of only a friendly kind, new planets (be it real or metaphorical) to explore, and allows us to shoot for the starts without any vital parts of our rockets braking.
Some time ago, my friend Laura asked who we wanted to be as kids, and I replied "a witch or a ninja". When she said "winja!", and then Inq said "ninjitch!", I simply knew I had to draw a ninja witch. Or a witchy ninja?
A simple & quick drawing done over the course of 2 evenings.
