@szkin_art Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop and Gundam Wing on Toonami... *sips* now that's a real summer anime lineup.
Portrait 5/? Back in the saddle.
One for @distantcowboys. I tried a few new things on this one, particularly how I coloured the hair.
Big thanks to the people on Discord for pointing out that I push the head too far forward when drawing busts.
So I've seen the I-pose stand / #I字バランス部 beginning to trend and now that I have the capacity to meme I submit the contribution of general purpose elf.
Portrait 4/?
@BluePenguin404's Farah. So far I've been trying to do the Loomis style of facial construction which I've not really been getting along with. I always feel like I have more facial real estate than I know what to do with. I tried something different with this.
This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
My general purpose elf has been allowed to take her hair out of bunches and take a day off. She doesn't look like she's relaxing much though. Probably should stop using the phone.
Portrait 2/?. @brookworm_'s Arlen.
With this one the references suggested the character had a longer face with more defined features than the last one, so I played with the structure of the generic head construction to pull that off.
Portrait 1/?
@SaltSimulacrum's Kjra.
This was a really good learning experience / balancing act in equal measure. I made a real effort to work in more realistic proportions and add a sense of volume whilst staying true to the style that I want to work to.
If anyone wants to take me aside and have a polite word about what I'm doing then I'd appreciate it.
@szkin_art I get the point that it was about different factions grabbing what they could post war but like, guys.
