Escaflowne is desperately making me want to figure to not only get guymelefs into D&D whilst retaining spectacle and grandeur but also figure out a way to get my friends to think that they're as cool as I do.

@AbsintheOTL The Gundam which is a visual cross between a knight in shining armour, samurai and friendly primary colours. The Zaku from the same franchise is a Cyclops style monster coveted with spikes and bulges. Both are very unrealistic but they communicate their roles well.

In lieu of time to draw, here's a picrew of an 18 year old me vs me now.

Another request. Someone asked for an elf wizard with a large brimmed hat, long braid and stylish robes.

Because I have zero style myself we have wound up with this cheerfully radiant individual.

Currently doing some 'research' on what appear to be stand out examples of the genre / medium I'm looking to work within: Snatchers and Policenauts. Genuinely impressed by Snatcher's graphics. Even more impressed by the English voice acting for 1994!
