For a comic about crime and sex, the story is wonderfully wholesome and funny, leaning into the weirdness of the situation. Zdarsky's art gives elevates the humour, always taking an opportunity to sneak in a background joke.
Last up we have @zdarsky and Matt Fraction's Sex Criminals. Jonathan and Suzie stop time when they orgasm. Naturally, they use that ability to rob banks and save Suzie's library.
Next up is Ran and the Gray World by Aki Irie. Ran misses her mother, a sorceress who has to keep watch over a magic door to stop something getting out. In her boredom she decides to keep wearing big trainers that cause her to grow into an adult, so she can go on adventures!
Lastly, Josh has been reading The Umbrella Academy by @gerardway @Gabriel_Ba Dave Stuart and @blambot. It tells the story of a group of superhuman siblings coming back together after the death of their adopted father in the hopes of stopping the apocalypse.
@sarahgraleyart What sets it apart from other similar comics is the goofy humour and love that is clear between Sarah and Stef, being schmaltzy and charming at the same time.

Nyankees by Atushi Okada tells the story of roaming delinquent Ryuusei quickly rising to the top of a local gang and the many intense battles that come with the title.
Oh by the way Ryuusei is really a stray cat.
“Sorry, sorry, SORRY!” cries Frantic Apologist Switch as they switch out with villains and victims to save the day, with help from Extreme Surprise Sub, the absorption hero!
