For a comic about crime and sex, the story is wonderfully wholesome and funny, leaning into the weirdness of the situation. Zdarsky's art gives elevates the humour, always taking an opportunity to sneak in a background joke.

Lastly, Josh has been reading The Umbrella Academy by @gerardway @Gabriel_Ba Dave Stuart and @blambot. It tells the story of a group of superhuman siblings coming back together after the death of their adopted father in the hopes of stopping the apocalypse.

Whaddup, it's #NCBD, which means it's time for a rec rundown! Jade's been reading YuGiOh by Kazuki Takahashi, published by @VIZMedia. Yugi completes a puzzle given to him, releasing the soul of a pharoah that possesses him whenever he's bullied and punishes evildoers w/ games.

@sarahgraleyart What sets it apart from other similar comics is the goofy humour and love that is clear between Sarah and Stef, being schmaltzy and charming at the same time.
