Josh has had his nose in Nancy (@SluggoIsLit) by Olivia Jaimes: a comic strip about...Nancy. It's all about her life with her Aunt Fritz, various friends and her best friend Sluggo, who some might describe as 'lit'.
It's #NCBD, which means it's time for us to rec some comics! Jade recommended Sweetness and Lightning vol. 1 before, but now 11 books in they wanted to rec it again! The food manga by Gido Amagakure about a teacher and his toddler learning to cook from his student has come so far
I hope @briamgilbert & @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN are proud of our hero created using a ~special~ generator. Shovel Illustrator is on a mission to bring green landscapes back to cities and bring criminals DOWN!

Jade recs Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge (@VIZMediaUK)
When his family is murdered, Tanjiro finds his sister alive but transformed into a demon. He saves her from a slayer who helps him to become one so he can avenge his fam & make his sister human again.
Dean recommends Blank Canvas by Akiko Higashimura (published by @gomanga). An autobio manga about Higashimura's journey into the art world, as a cocky teen who gets harsh tutoring in order to make it into college.
I say read some, because this comic's been going steady for almost 20 years! And that's all while constantly adding new characters, plots, intricately-drawn machines and action scenes to a high degree of quality. It's an incredible achievement!
@zdarsky @kristaferanka @COLORnMATT @adityab As it's a 2 issue mini-series, a lot is packed in and you get the characters/relationships almost immediately. Matt's colours with Kris' art are as ever a match made in heaven, especially during quite a saucy scene at the end with Aditya's letters shining during a pivotal battle.
@McElroyFamily @careydraws We've recommended the first volume before and much like the podcast, the second arc feels a lot more confident in its execution and the ability to go back has allowed them to pepper the past with foreshadowing and characters arcs that weren't present so early in the podcast.
