Congratulations to #adriaangeuze @west8design for winning the 2022 Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe Award from @ifla_europe @IntFedLandArch. I’m thrilled to have your ideas and inspiration in #250LA and #stagingurbanlandscapes books. A huge achievement to recognise all you’ve done for LA’s
“For the first time in 300 years, St Mary Le Strand is not a traffic island.” Wow, already a huge transformation for #strandaldwych. Great teamwork and there’s still more to come. @LDADesign @CityWestminster @wsp @TheNorthbankBID @SomersetHouse @KingsCollegeLon @StMaryleStrand https://t.co/MJmojl4jCT
Works are underway on #aldwych to create a 2-way traffic system and introduce generous pedestrian crossings. The change to traffic flow will enable the #Strand to be traffic free, resulting in a new public space in London. @LDADesign #strandaldwych @CityWestminster
Exciting new vision for the #strand #aldwych in London. Works have started on site to transform the traffic dominated streets into a place for people. See more below:

First coverage of the exciting #strand meanwhile project and the conversion of #aldwych to 2-way. It’s been a pleasure to lead this design with a team from @LDADesign for @CityWestminster with @wsp 🙌

A great reminder: ‘Don’t underestimate the temporary.’#landscapist
Thank you @Land8 @konagray @ANOVA_Furniture for the reminder of the irreplaceable value of hand drawing in the design process, the connection from hand to mind to ideation. All encompassing quote from @theOLINstudio #laurieolin speaks truth. #edsa
“Landscape was once termed ‘a cultural image, a pictorial way of representing a symbolising surroundings’, yet this definition seemingly only applied to when landscape was purely the subject of painting in the 18th century. Now landscape is complex, layered, lived.” #toyapeal
