Light Novels are the better alternative if the lackluster showing from project No.9 proved less than exceptional in executing the bare essentials of what makes this popular series such a phenomenon. Prose at times is better garnered through impactful reading.
This key visual has to be the most funniest thing I've seen today
If you know you know 🤫
Grete has been similarly given the benefit of the doubt as to her competency as a spy and the tragic circumstances surrounding her true face is very much executed with the traumatizing undertones she likewise masks but wears on her sleeves. LN/Anime go hand in hand.
I'm not ready to say goodbye 😭
Easily my AOTS. Best part of my day every single week with each episode keeping me emotionally invested. It's so damn good.
Caught up with Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete. It's an entirely fetishistic spin on the magical girl (mahou shoujo) genre with neatly embellished takes on the inspirations it likes to originate from and that's entirely intentional. Funny and all around sexy shenanigans.
Looking Up to Magical Girls sounds like a fun romp. MC herself is a neat deconstruction of one of the major influences of the mahou shoujo genre "Revolutionary Girl Utena" in part by having the intended name starkly perceived as a sadist.
Pretty funny too so there's that.
Tsumugi and Kaoruko are relationship goals. You have to love the daylights out of them.
ONIMAI has been quite the experience and the reception more than speaks of how despite previous perceptions it stuck close to what it does best: Exploration of purely neat and heartwarming bonds and a slice of life in the lens of the girlish persuasion.
Only one episode left.
