Appearing in Monster Hunter Frontier G10.1 is the seventh Exotic Species, Stygian Zinogre. After skipping G8 because of the normal Zinogre, Stygian Zinogre finally appears in Frontier with some changes to complement its appearance in the game.

Some of them are the ancestors of current monsters such as Gravios and Rajang, while others are just ancient relatives of those monsters that are still around today. Although they could be considered quite primitive, Origin Species shouldn't be underestimated.

Voljang went through many phases during development before the Frontier Team finally settled on a design.

Thought to be the ancestor of Rajang, Voljang is a violent Fanged Beast that isn't covered in fur. It has a hard shell and thick skin covering its body, protecting it from the intense heat of its environment. Like Rajang, Voljang is described to be ultra-aggressive.

Armor from the Exotic Species is unique in the fact that wearing one piece of it activates one set skill, varying depending on the monster in question.

Nargacuga - Evasion +2

The sixth Exotic Species to be introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier was Nargacuga. Many years after Monster Hunter Freedom Unite brought over Hypnocatrice and Lavasioth, Frontier brings over Nargacuga from the Main Series in G10.

Compared to other Elder Dragons, Guanzorumu has high-pitched roars. It uses these roars to give the Egyurasu various commands, such as to breathe fire and to toss intruders off the fortress. Guanzorumu's roars are considered to be louder than even Laviente's.

Given its nickname because of its appearance resembling a king, Guanzorumu is an Elder Dragon that reigns supreme over all the Egyurasu in the Cloud Viewing Fortress. Seemingly, this monster is the reason why the fortress is in ruins today.
