After Monster Hunter Frontier Season 4.0, another new monster was added into the Gorge in the following update, Season 5.0. This quadrupedal Flying Wyvern is known as Pariapuria, the Swallowing Wyvern, and it has one hell of an appetite!
Alongside the Gorge in Season 4.0, Monster Hunter Frontier also introduced a new Flying Wyvern that inhabited it. This monster is named Berukyurosu, the Dancing Thunder Wyvern, and it's easily one of if not the smartest Flying Wyverns in the series.
Despite my questionable feelings about Zinogre, it's nice to see it appear in Iceborne with its new brethren, especially after being alone for two generations. Looking forward to seeing how it interacts with its environment and the other monsters in Iceborne.
Wouldn't mind seeing these two return side by side in one game, and I especially would love to see how they would interact with each other if at all. The same also applies to Yian Kut-Ku and Yian Garuga since they have a complicated relationship.
Huh, no scars on its face or missing an ear. Most Yian Garuga we encounter have scars from previous battles with other species on their body, generally on their face. It's pretty rare to see one without such battle scars.
One of the most popular Brute Wyverns, right behind Deviljho and Glavenus, Brachydios has always had a special place in my heart. Easily one of the most unique monsters in the series with the way it uses slime mold to its advantage and from how it uses its forelimbs in combat.
