When a young male Duramboros reaches a certain age, it'll leave the female herd and travel alone like the older males. Some of these males have been reported roaming around near Yukumo Village.
Besides using his horns and tail as a tool and weapon against threats, a male Duramboros will use those parts to attract females and fight off other males. A male Duramboros with a large tail and horns is quite attractive to a female since he looks strong and healthy.
The hard moss on its shell can absorb the shock of physical blows, lessening any damage that Duramboros takes in combat, while the mushrooms are a rare delicacy that can be found beneath the shell.

Even though I just said I'm not a big fan of the Apex Monsters in Rise, I gotta say that my absolute favorite amongst them so far is Apex Rathalos. He is similar to Dreadking in some regards, but I feel the differences between it and the Deviant are quite noticeable in battle.
Rise's Teostra doesn't change too much from the one in World (To me, World's Teostra is a perfect representation of the emperor). The main thing I noticed is that this Teostra is a bit more specialized with its two different modes (Fire Mode and Blast Mode) in combat.
