Because of Chameleos's amazing camouflage, no one was ever able to give a proper description of the monster in the past since its body was concealed most of the time. These are thought to be a few early depictions of this mysterious elder dragon.

Chameleos's tail has an odd shape that resembles a leaf. It uses its tail to detect potential danger behind it when it isn't looking back or fully aware of its surroundings. Some also believe that its tail contains the body fluids that it uses to become transparent.

The moment this liquid comes in contact with the body's sugars, it'll become lactic acid. The acid will cause severe fatigue to the body. The gas from this liquid can paralyze the vocal cords of humans, preventing people from speaking.

Nowadays, studies on Chameleos have progressed considerably, and researchers are starting to better understand this mysterious elder dragon.
