@DarkCorners3 Also watched Nails (2003), an odd, low-budget Russian film about a hitman who combats his inner-demons through self-trepanation. It's a bit derivative, with shades of Eraserhead, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, and Brain Damage, but it's never dull.

@DarkCorners3 The Nest (1987) - Killer roaches infest a seaside town. Mildly entertaining, with some weird tonal shifts. This would be good Dark Corners material.
The Monolith Monsters (1957) - Calling crystalline structures from space "monsters" is a bit of a stretch. Well made, but dull.
