Best Older Game: Dōkyūsei 2
Echoing the 1st game’s praise, 2 builds on all that while upping scale & drama. 2 utilizes its winter holiday calendar time to play off routes wonderfully. There are two intertwined routes that unfold in a neat way I’ve never seen. The art is stunning.

This upcoming week's @gamevecanti line-up is probably one of my favorites to date. Lots of fun stuff! Look forward to it!

Sotsugyou was an early example of a "mixed media" franchise, spanning manga, toys, OVAs, & more. Beyond that, it tackled the concept of "2.5D" before it became commonplace, where things like music CDs, concerts, & events brought fiction closer to the world of reality.

I got Miko's ending in Kakyuusei! I didn't use a guide, so I missed lots of events. Will be doing her route again, plus others, of course!

It's a cool evolution of Doukyuusei! I've got LOTS more to see, but I dig how intimate & player driven the relationship system is. #下級生
