My fav Madelyne Pryor gets to be the ultimate baddie, queen of the techno-organic demon hordes of limbo. Modern superhero comics don't really do demons hordes like this anymore. Bring back demon hordes.

16. Inferno. Tying up every single ongoing X-Men plot point up to this point with probably the strongest artist lineup of any superhero crossover. Bogdanove, Blevins, Simonson, Silvestri pencils. Milgrom, Williamson, Wiacek, Green inks. Oliver and Scotese colors.

Cameron Hodge's showing back up in X-Tinction Agenda as a robot after getting his head cut off has real "somehow Palpatine returned" energy.

14. X-Men: Fall of the Mutants (Uncanny 225-227) Some kind of big demon breaks time, Storm and Forge spend a year in a wilderness dimension looking hot, Freedom Force is there, the X-Men become LEGENDS and get set to Australia by a multiversal goddess. Total, beautiful nonsense.

Larry Hama's Wolverine run off to a good start, Silvestri, Green, Oliver, and Brousseau all at the top of their game. BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM.
