The Black Bolt/Crusher Creel dynamic is great. Black Bolt is basically a Tom King protagonist and then Crusher is like "you think you're Ben Grimm? You're a privileged war criminal. I'M the real Ben Grimm here."
The whole first issue is just 3 self-absorbed white men moping in a bar because they miss the "good old days" when they mattered, while Black Panther does actual work. That's like the definitive take on what the Avengers actually are, but of course its miserable to read.
Aaronvengers sucks because Aaron is actually really good at writing the Avengers, BUT the Avengers are all terrible unlikeable characters so the book is just unbearable to read.
This comic is more bad than good but it is very funny that the pitch is basically "what if we did Scott Snyder's big dum 5-year Batman Who Laughs/Perpetua saga but instead it finishes in 2 issues because Ben Grimm just punches the personification of entropy"
Dan Slott should have just retired from comics after writing this gag. Its the entire ethos of Marvel comics in 3 panels AND its a solid dunk on the fact that Spider-Man sucks.
That feeling when all of heaven and hell are gunning for you so you put them in a trap in which you win every outcome
We've had Robin reinvented as a robot, a ninja assassin, a youth protest movement, an alien starfish. Even Futures End had Duke Thomas as Robin and it was great. Tim Drake is the Barry Allen of Robins, its time to move on.
