I will admit there is something. viscerally uncomfortable about some of these. I'm worried that one of these things is gonna tear right through kirby's skin

And I feel like that hasn't really changed?? Like, Zelda does play a larger role in a lot of the newer games but the roles she plays are still almost exclusively passive, meanwhile every noncanon spinoff lets her go around blasting people with magic as much as she pleases
