@FeedYourGames I appreciate the art share!
I'm Bellamy, and my main art focus is creature design, specifically in the form of surreal digital collages!
@NamiNami_ch Hello! I'm Bellamy, a haunted museum curator with a love of strange indie games and art history! When I'm not organizing exhibitions or streaming at https://t.co/HWFiLv4LNK, I design surreal creatures from scavenged images!
@JusagiChan Hello! I'm Bellamy, a haunted museum curator with a love of strange indie games and art history! When I'm not streaming or talking about art, I create surreal creatures from scavenged images!
(I also just revealed my rigged model if anyone's interested in that!)
"Oh! You're finally here! I'm so happy you could make it!
I hope you're as excited for this exhibition as I am!"
(Thank you so much @1758Rainn for drawing this wonderful piece for me!)
Henry Darger's work as an outsider artist (one without training or education in the arts) has long fascinated me. His manuscript, assembled together from scavenged images, tracings and watercolors, tells a staggeringly long narrative, seen by nobody but himself during his life!
@Lilin_VDaemon (Middens Game Over by MadamMontecristo on Deviantart)
The way a creature moves is one of the easiest identifiers. Porous Meanderpedes use their multitude of legs to quickly sprint across all manners of terrain. Nestbearer Burdenbeasts on the other hand are lumbering, but sturdy, and can be ridden safely by sitting in its nest.
@Lilin_VDaemon A number of different inspirations, including Inu Curry's work on Madoka, the surreal creatures of Middens, zoological encyclopedias, and just having grown up around media with a large number of varied creatures as a core element in trading card, tabletop, or video game form!
