Steven Belledin's rendition of an Overgrown Tomb is a somber and melancholy landscape, showing a mausoleum and its surroundings overgrown by ivy and partly swallowed by loamy soil and fungus. Land cards are easily some of my favorites, addressing the sublime with a magical twist!
I messed around with an online dithering tool I found a little while back and this was the result! I personally think the compressed appearance is nothing short of striking!
@KeinaNate Certainly! Here's a Peter Paul Rubens for your viewing pleasure!
@sash_imee Hello there! I'm Bellamy, a digital collagist with an focus on surreal creature designs!
Introducing the rare new Bellamy NFT, prices starting at 0 monies and remaining there because I don't want to actively enable art thieves, scammers, and an even more parasitic art market
@darcwrath I occasionally draw silly things on art or do little paper sketches if I'm bored, but my main art form is digital collage with a focus on monster designs!
I'm almost too embarrassed to share this, but here's the first collage I ever made paired with a much more recent work https://t.co/im6Rqrr6Nu
Waking up after a long nap always has me feeling a bit disoriented, scattered, mentally fragmented even...
Have some of Kazimir Malevich's "Suprematism" series, pioneering works in abstract expressionism which attempted to rationalize an especially turbulent early 20th century!
I might curate an exhibit of historical art this weekend to get myself back in that online exhibition organization mindset.
I'm torn between the Dutch baroque and romantic paintings of the sublime for the first one, but I suppose that just means I'll have to curate them both!
