-kogal/gyaru subculture in Japan, at least around the late 90s and early 00s. While I like many of the characters, Ran herself steals the show. Super Gals! was also my first exposure to Tokyo's Shibuya ward.

El-Hazard is a sister anime of sorts to Tenchi Muyo, but not quite as prolific. With the current Isekai fad, now may be the time to being back this franchise. I haven't seen either series in a while, but so enjoyed them.
#AniMay Day 16 - El-Hazard (1995-1999)

Prétear is a 13-episode TV series. Himeno is a girl who tries to adjust to her new life with a stepmother who ignores her and two stepsisters who hate her. One day she is approached by 7 young men and boys and asked to become the Prétear, a magical
