The Hell Creek Dromie, tentatively considered as #Dakotaraptor, was found in the same ecosystem as the large and famous Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops. Left unnamed as the state of ”Dakotaraptor“ is very shaky, but it would have been a powerful predator in life.
#Dineobellator, a Eudromaeosaurian of questionable affinity. Originally thought to be a Velociraptorine, a reexamination of the holotype kept it within the true raptors, however being a separate genus outside any other current groups within Eudromaeosauria.
#Velociraptor, not only one of the most well known Dromaeosaurs out there, but one of the most well known dinosaurs period. Though it is misunderstood by some in the general public, it is one of the best known dinosaurs, and it’s specimens are some of the best preserved in paleo.
#Adasaurus was a moderately sized dromie known from the Nemegt formation. Though Velociraptorinae consists of relatively small Dromaeosaurs, Adasaurus was fairly large and may have represented one of the largest with the subfamily.
#Achillobator was a large and robustly built Mongolian dromaeosaur. Being reliably second only to Utah in size, it could be considered the prince of the true raptors. In its formation, it would have been an apex predator with few predators if any, rare in dromies.
#Vectiraptor was a recently described dromaeosaur that was unveiled to the world in 2021. It was a part of the Wessex formation, and would have coexisted with the smaller dromaeosaur Ornithodesmus, as well as larger theropods Neovenator and Riparovenator.
Had a fun time working on a personal redesign of the #indoraptor from JWFK. No hate, I love the design in the movie, but I wanted to throw my hat in the ring.
(I can't get this thing out of my head)
