@NewsprintMafia I marvel at Gulacy’s obvious understanding of what the production was capable of. Obviously Greg Wright is doing a lot of the work here too but Gulacy know what to give him. Also, at a time when colours were pretty bad in general

This Tom Strong cover was a spec piece done by Tom McWeeney which apparently inspired Moore to produce an EC Mad parody which Hilary Barta drew. It’s one of my favourite covers. McWeeney inked Roachmill and Battle Chasers. He also drew a great Roachmill strip and a Gen 13 special

#ShakeYourCLZ. Chrononauts is a good run timetravel/buddy story. Sean Murphy on the first and Eric Canete on this second series. Not to be sniffed at

@MuerteComic @NewsprintMafia I've only just got to it. Nice to still have surprises in issues I've overlooked. Yeah. It's a very different McKone and really interesting and against the Henry Flint, works perfectly. A very nice standalone Batman story (Detective 622-624 in case anyone's wondering)
