After many years I managed to get 1-4 of OMAC in one place. Solid story (gets a bit mind ending at the end). All Byrne. I don’t think there can be better post-Marvel Byrne. Done on magic paper to get those effects. Masterful stuff and the inks are slick too.
@deanetts @NeilPolowin Sal inked by Russel on Tarzan 29 looking a but George Freeman or Infantino. Cheers, @NeilPolowin

Weird War Tales Special oneshot. Ennis, Dixon, Teran, Alcatena, Pope, Zezelj, and Biukovic’s last, beautiful strip with Macan writing. Ennis’s strip is by Jim Lee but was originally to be Biukovic. And a Phil Hale cover to boot. 10/x
@DVPdirect I use “oh, father” like these guys.
Back over to Marvel. Ultimate X. A post X-Men Ultimate X-Men mini. Jeph Loeb writes. Shot from pencils and looks pretty great for it. But a historical footnote, sadly. Get it for the pictures at least. 29/x
Tom Strong 4. More great guests. Dunbier rallying the troops for Tom Strong insert stories. 8 pages of Art Adams in this one. Big, corny fun. These strips always felt a little fillery, story wise. Needless to say, Moore pulled it all together. 26/x
This is is a good one. 10 pages of Challengers of the Unknown. Early shot from pencils work. Karl Kesel writes (always a good thing). 23/x
