@Fawfulthgreat64 @SeanHicksART idk if I'm the only one who saw it but I think the darker coloring they did for CS/PMTOK sprite was purposely done in a way to make it work out with the dynamic lighting(?) it has. Like, the TTYD palette you posted is pretty much this Mario palette but under the ray of sunlight.
