@Keito_VE Right? Modern Paper Mario characters could've been so much more if they just had the idea on how to pull it off correctly. Port Prisma locales could have been unique but they decided to settle with generic Toads. Origami King too.

@Keito_VE @Terranigma23 @Eb2kM @Reecee_yt Does that mean you're cool with Rescue Squad too? What about Shangri-Spa Toads? This is the first time we see Toads with white spots in any Mario game iirc, albeit it seems like these spots make them species, and not one character trait.

@Fawfulthgreat64 Yeah, I expect him to be somewhat burlier but not as much as Wario, basically somewhere between Wario and Luigi. Though in this drawing I mainly used the original Arcade model as the reference, since it seems like that's where they're going for judging from the cast reveal.

i've improved a lot from last year tho! so that's great, obviously, but i'm still struggling with clean lineart so have the rough version for the redraw ahah (right is from october last year but idk the exact date)

one day i'll accomplish my goal getting able to draw realistic hot men from on top of my head--which kinda the whole reason i took drawing seriously this past couple years w anatomy, artstyle and stuff--but for now i still have to rely on references from pinterest for that🤕
