@brawwwr last week next to my oldest ever Doom fanart from 2003. The old pic uses the helmet design from Quake 3 while the new one uses the helmet design from the classic skin in Doom Eternal.

A cover I made for a thrash metal band a bit over a year ago. Very Wolfenstein 3D inspired. I learned a lot about texturing and color harmonizing while making it.

And here's the before and after comparison on this demon. I do love the head-shape of this design and it's shown off a little more in the original picture, but other than that I am much more happy with the new one.

This was always my second least favorite of the series, not because of how I shaded it, or the actual design I was working with, but how it was just standing stiff like someone having their mugshot taken, so I completely redrew it.
