Necrobumping ye olde LoR art thread, I knew these were gonna get face updates. Here are the originals from the patch data, to compare to the new ones. First/left are patch 1.8, second/right ones are the updates.

Late find but may as well add it, from Jihun Lee on Artstation.
Lunari Duskbringer in 1.8 (left) has a bit less glow than the artist's posted version (right).

One more for today, been loading up images from SMV's website to compare to the game. Both Taric's T1 and T2 cards have little differences. Notably where his hair meets the mountain edge in T1 and the floating gems in T2.

Immortal Fire... I don't even know what really happened here. Left is 1.8, right is Kudos Productions' post. The big goofy beaming light got removed for in-game, and the phoenix was made more fiery on some edges.

Legs are a little longer in the Kudos Artstation version (right) for The Warrior. Clouds are sharper in the 1.8 release (left). Hard to notice without pulling up photo viewer and flipping between them.

This is why LoR drives me nuts, but the art is fascinating. Left is the patch 1.8 card, right is Kudos Productions' Artstation post for Lunari Scout/Shadestalker from today.

Face/hair, hood tilt, lighting overall and the crop of the image are all different.

I just gotta throw in thoughts on purple Nocturne & Mistwraith again. I have a weird feeling the set is incomplete, or certain arts will change down the line elsewhere.

@monikapalosz @riotgames @sixmorevodka @PlayRuneterra Might be an odd question, but @PixelButts and I worked on a few videos covering the alternate card artwork. Were the alt versions done in-house at SMV or by Riot later on? Specifically adding clothing, changing color, or removing gore/arrows/spears, etc.

I refuse to believe Nocturne was only ever drawn purple, considering some of the same pink/red inconsistencies with similar-themed Shadow Isles cards. Expecting an original version to show up in League Displays tbh 🙃
