In Brittany, storms were attributed to Dud-a-Vor (Sea Men); little demons who roused storms and seen dancing on rocks before the most violent winds. Legends tell of other storm casters - Tud-Gommon (Seaweed Men); small beings clothed in kelp who walked on waves.
