I do love it when a new lecture allows me to putter about in Procreate for a bit...
#12 #Disgusting and #Slippery combined to make an interesting, foldy, drippy boyNot sure how I feel - definitely unsettling, but ultimately a bit of a rush job! Be interesting to maybe revisit with further practice and more time!

The vomer is a thin, delicate bone which sits in the midline of the nasal cavity, separating it into two halves.
The #etymology of the vomer is a bit of a journey. The name is adapted from the latin 'vomere', which means quite literally 'to vomit'.

Incidentally, the temporal bone houses your special senses of balance and hearing, and also transmits nerves which control your facial muscles and taste!
The internal portion, known as the petrous temporal, is understood to be the densest piece of bone in the human body.
Personally, a big fan of the coronal plane. Depends on the region though really.

As promised, a really enjoyable tutorial session yesterday afternoon hopefully made up for the lecture the day before! Medical imaging and cross-sectional anatomy of the pelvis 🥳
One more practical class to survive and the MScs will be free of me for a few days at least! https://t.co/4SqfAI3rXS

*NOT my images. Composition is mine, but zombies are recoloured from depositphotos and Zombie Cat belongs to The Oatmeal.
