Did you know that Aleister Crowley wrote a detective/spy novel? It is called Moonchild and it tells the story of a magical war occurring between rival occultists (thinly veiled depictions of Crowley's friends and enemies) on the eve of the First World War.

Fun fact: the first appearance of the double-bladed lightsaber was in Tales of the Jedi – The Sith War 3, where it was wielded by Exar Kun.

This predates Phantom Menace by four years.
