Totally not biased because its name makes a good pub with my name, but the Bad Karmour is my favorite. So cool looking.

I really like the "animated suit of knight's armor" genre of DQ monsters.

They've also given these guys EVEN MORE evolutions! Most of these seem to be called "Gore" forms. As you can see, they're from Super Light, so we don't know much about them.

Perhaps the Firespirit, Burning Man, and Dancing Flame form a family? Burning Man does quite a bit of dancing of its own in its animations

Jinkster and Pricky Prankster are directly linked through breeding in Dragon Quest Monsters. They both have that "cyclopsian clown" vibe.

Also exclusive to the Monsters series are the Nardragon and Stabosaur... and yes, these really are different monsters

The Joker series has some straight-up confirmed evolutions as well in the form of the Incarni and Leokid -> Leonyx
