This little fella was very curious to see me and kept coming closer and closer whilst ‘chatting’ to me, staring right into my eyes.
One of his family members came down and pecked him as if to say: “Stop that, you idiot!”so he took off...and came back again after just one minute❤️

Last two birds I painted on ‘hot-pressed’ paper; it dries fairly quickly and makes the paint harder to control..but it also gives the drawings that old botanical out of history-book kind of look.
